1995 Intimidator weight

Any you guys know the rough weight of a 1995 19'3" intimidator with a 1999 200 ProMax on it. Looking to find a class III motorcycle hitch to carry a small dirtbike, and pull to Gambler behind that. I have a bumper mount know and it is just too much of a pain in the *ss to load and unload.
On another subject, Just returned from Leech Lake Mn. were me and the Gambler boat a few Muskies, the biggest being 42". How many of you guys realize just how good the Gambler is as a Muskie boat?
30 MPH winds one day, and 5' swells chased me off the lake. The 5 mile ride back to the harbor was very wet for me. Could get going across them and stay on top of the swells, but they were so big, I would blow the Prop as I went between them.
Anyway by God not once did that boat do anything funny in that kind of water.
It is nice to own a boat of quality and predictability.

Dude, the Gambler is an awesome muskie boat, I've slimed mine quite a few times. Gets you from spot to spot very fast, and the low sides are great for figure 8-ing and netting. Took mine from Ohio to Cass Lake the first year I had it.

You know, I thought it would be a babe-magnet, but the only folks who stopped at rest areas to inquire about it were old men. Just my luck. I agree, it doesn't do well in big chop but I was never scared, either, just power through. Glad you had a good trip. m

My next muskie trip will be on the 24th to Lake Alexander and Shaminou (sp) by Brainard. If I like, we will be getting a seasonal there.
I will invite you over, and two Gamblers will be on Mn waters with hogs on them!!

Awesome. We're hoping for a Minnesota trip in September, have to wait to see how gas prices and financing for the trip go between now and then. I'll let ya know if we go. m

Kenneth, I have the same rig, and used to pull it with a 6 cyl. Ford Ranger. The hull weight is #1600 and total pulling weight your looking at about (#2500?).

As far as rough water I use to fish the Chesapeake bay every weekend and saw my share of 6'+ waves. You just need to quarter into them (not head on) and keep your trim some were in between looking at the sky and stabbing a wave

Thanks for the weight. I was estimating around that, and got my sister to pull it to the local farm store and weight the thing full of gas and in fishing trim.
#2240 lbs for the entire unit. with less then #150 of tongue weight with all the gas in the thing.
Thanks for the info on the waves. I did end up doing the 45 degree on the waves. Had to quarter them from the right side, and that when the shower began. The bilge pump got a workout on that ride.
Anyway in the cosmic scheme of Life, getting wet was OK. I just was impressed that not once did I think the Gambler was going to role, stab, sink, swing, etc. or anything of the sort. It just rolled with the punches and got me home.
