Vince, you have a hydraulic jackplate, correct?
If so, try the motor higher; many think that you need to lower the motor and tuck it all the way under; that's not always going to give you the best holeshot. Sometimes a higher setting will let the prop spin up faster and give you a better holeshot.
Dartman, I agree with Al, and you know that RUDE would get it out of the hole!!!!!!!![]()

dartman.........are you having prop blow-out or slow turning up rpm's?
i don't think so,just doesn't seem right comeing out of the hole.it is not bad but,i don't know.i'm going to hook up with Leenj(gamblergt183) and let him try it to see what he thinks. he's been in a few gamblers.i have only been in one,the one i got.i love it but don't thik it performing the way it should,i'm run a 1999 johnson 225ho.but thinking about buying a 2001 225ho rude ram,to get rid of the carbs
johnson runs good and they say makes 247hp. was thinking of just cangeing the reeds to make it wind up better
