sorry i know you asked for ld but i am still gonna throw somethin at ya! infact i just made a post about the same thing in another thread. HYDROMOTIVE QUAD IV X i got to run several of those last week and i am tellin ya that they have one heck of a holeshot and pull hard through midrange and have great topend numbers not to mention they handle as good as anything i have run on my gambler. i know what my next prop will be!!!
thanks horseshoer, that post is intended for any of you guys, Mark had just menitioned LD's worked with him with my set up. i may try a quad IV, i,m a prop whore so who know , all you guy's info is great stuff

I'd just go ahead and get one from Mark and have him blueprint it. You already know the right pitch. Get the large barrel with at least 7/8 inch vent holes. I have 1 inch in mine and I can't make it blow out.
mark... it really depends on what you want out of your set up....the hydro is really an awesome all around prop...the 26 trophy that mark has been working with me on is a little faster than the hydro...but i have a 26 tempest that mark has worked that is my fastest prop... i am also working on a 3 blade txp, that i feel will outrun all of them....the only down side of the hydro, is there will always be a prop that will outrun it on the top end..but if you decide on the hydro, go with the vent holes willie mentioned...it wont be a bad choice...also remember the hydro will need to be a larger pitch, 27 or 28.. they turn higher than most props...

thanks for all the input, mark has my 26" trophy right know , i'll keep ya postedmd
