    looking for part number 0386542

    anyone have on that they can overnight? Cant seem to find anything locally at any dealers, hoping a sponser may have one.

    its the shift gears for the '73 - 77 control box.

    also going to need part 318185 - looking like it may not be very cost effective to rebuild this box.

    Josh, you may want to talk to Barnacle Bills about purchasing new controls for your engine. It's obvious that they are interested in your business. The 73-78 yr. control was never one of my favorites. A new control and cables will shift much smoother, have a fast idle lever that will actually allow you to speed the engine up adequately for cold starts and have an emergency stop switch with lanyard for safety. You will be very pleased with your purchase.

    I will likely go that route, but wait until I get back to WV next month. I was hoping to be able to get that one part, but it needs more than just one. Just way too many expenses going on right now for a completely new controller. I actually wasnt planning on using the key/safety lanyard on the control box, as I already have them installed in the dash.

    I do appreciate it though, barnacle bill's!
