I think I may have streched the cable I was fishing (right near shaw grigsby and terry scroggins lol) and I was in some thick stuff and I pushed a little hard on the pedal and it just went limp I already pulled the head no gears shavin its all really good looking I tried the adjustment on the pedal it adjusts but still a good half inch of slack either side....has this been heard of? and what should I do?

Make sure at the head the cable is routing around the pully properly and the pully is seated.
