    86' 150GT Voltage reg???

I have a 86' johnson 150 GT Model #J150TLCDC on my Ranger. I noticed that the tach stopped working late last season, and I suspected that the voltage reg was bad. When getting ready this year I did a measurment of the battery running and not and found it to be 12.41 volts off, and 12.39 running. I know that the reg. is bad, and I have two others for parts, but I don't know the years. I suspect them to be from 85- 89. I can't get the BRP site to work, does anyone know I if the part# are the same?? Visually they look to be the same, along with all the other parts on both spares.

    Thanks,

    zrt

Should be a 35 amp system part number 395204, if you have a 585195 it is for a 10 amp system. Tell us the numbers you have and we can check them.

Is the part # stamped on the reg, or where would I find it. Is anyone else having problem with the BRP site? It was working for me but it doesn't now.
