I thought I would be on Easy Street by now but somehow I missed the off ramp!
Thanks Larry I will call and see if they have anything. I would like to stay the same so I dont have to drill a bunch more holes in my boat.
Well Mr. Jones doesnt know the manufacturer of this bracket, is it possible that viper used a local machine shop to build it ?
If you have the two squares mounted on the front of your boat-that mount is made by Swivl-Eze. It wasn't as popular as their mount that uses the 2 round pieces on the bow.
You must be talking about the square ones in this pic...

Yes thats it the square mounts , are they still available?
I tried pulling it up on their website but neither would pull up..I'd try contacting them..
The square mounts are no longer made, so I will have to change to something else. Does anyone have the round puck style on their boat , and if so do you like it ?
I had the round pieces on my old fish & ski-I think they fit the same base because they are swivl-eze also. You should be able to get by just buying the round pieces. Look at the picture Bryan posted above.
The round pieces might have actually held the TM a little tighter with less movement & banging around than the square pucks. Neither system holds the TM as tightly as a standard screw-down like on bass boats.
The round pieces use to have plastic covers to put on them when the TM was off to make them a little more attractive.
The round pieces should be big enough to cover up the screw holes from the square mounts.
I found that same pic on a site called shootnhunt.com but it shows two different types of mounts , mine has no base plate just the square pieces and pins. Attwood only shows the round style now, but is available in aluminum or reinforced plastic bases. I think I will order the aluminum base style and hope it covers the old holes. Thanks for the info guys .
I had the similar mount made by motor guide on my Bullet..It a great mount but you have to drill six holes in yoru boat where the round pucks fit.The long plate stays on your TM bracket..Mines was all aluminum..This is a close look at the one above....
