2007 Etec 200HO- couple of questions

Is the HD100 the only oil I can use in this motor?
Any BBC sponsors able to ship it to me?

You can use the 100% synthetic XD-100 oil in your E-TEC if you want, and have the dealer set the computer to that, which will minimize your oil useage.

If not, the motor will run on any TC-W3 oil that has a certification number starting with the letters " RL ". Do not use an older TC-W3 oil that starts with just an " R ".


All of us here recommend using either XD-100 or the XD-50 oil for best results.

I think I was told to run the 100 only. But if I could get by in a pinch (such as this weekend when I was getting low) I could get some 50 from a baot dealer closer to home, but he doesnt carry the 100 (and BTW he is not my delaer, just a closer one.)

Is your motor set up for XD-100 oil or for TC-W3? You have to know for sure, or take it to a dealer and have them hook up their laptop to confirm the oil type setting.
