Ken...You weren't just whistling Dixie!! One of the worst storms I have ever driven in. First rain, then sleet (which froze), then snow which covered the icy freeways along with "white outs" from the windy conditions all the way from North of Kansas City to Minnesota. Cars and 18 wheelers in the ditch all over the place. Couldn't believe the speeds that folks were driving in that stuff....we missed a 40 car pile up due to a "white out" condition by about 5 minutes. Hit a little snow with windy conditions on the way back too. It's good to be home!

Larry, did it remind ya of the 'ol days? This is the first time in a looooooooooong time that I can remember this much snow for a whole winter let alone just december. We've had extremely mild winters for a few years now until this one. Makes ya wanna move back up north right?

well you made it back...well tomorrow i be the same place i just came from...on my 4 wheeler witha plow pushin snow..drove past the lake today..5 footer with caps...launch ramp was closed..i didnt wana spend 5 bucks to launch anyway
