    Cold weather Viper!

Usually every year the Viper is put to sleep for the winter by this time. Gonna try something new this year though. Instead of the snake hibernating, I'n gonna get it out on the water and try some Musky fishing. Wish me luck (I don't have a clue as to what I'm doing). Each year the winters just seem longer and longer so I figure this will be a way to pass some of the time off . We'll see how it goes Can't be any worse than staying home!

Joe...That's called the fish of 10,000 casts. You can't possibly be getting cabin fever already!

I thought I would be on Easy Street by now but somehow I missed the off ramp!

The way this year has gone for me the bass could be called the fish of 10,000 casts too . And yes... I am getting cabin fever already. I just don't want to stop fishing yet.

Better buy yourself an ice auger, there'll be ice up on the Mississippi before too long; and as all good ice fishermen know, the first ice is one of the best times to fish. (That's about as nuts as Musky fishing)!

NO!!! You will never find me on the ice. I'm not a fan of cold weather. It's hard enough to get me on the water past October, there's no way I'm gonna be near any water after it's hard.

Man,cold weather isn't that bad. It's gonna be in the 30's here tonight, but it's ok now. When I get home in a few hour's after seeing the Doc,I'm heading out.We took home 37 sandbass and 5 largemouth yesterday. The ol' rattle trap strikes again. It'll be in the 40's when I get off the water and their calling for 30 to 40 mph wind's,but you know what I call that?A good day for fishin' cause I can assure you that I'll be the only putz on the water!!!!!!!!!

    Joe,

You got the powerhead fixed? Hope so and hope this one runs for a long time!

(Move to Texas and you never have to put the boat up! There are some cold days for sure, but the water stays in a liquid state year round!!)
