V20 - Will it fit in my garage ?

The Legend website says the total length on trailer "with engine trimmed down and swing away tongue" is 23 feet 5 inches for the 2015 Legend V20. Is it the same for the 2016 ?

More specifically is that overall length measurement after accounting for a hydraulic jack plate or with the manual jack plate ?

Also, what is the height from the ground to the top of an 8ft. PowerPole on a rig with the Mayhem wheels?

I don't have the exact numbers but if you have a 24' garage you should be able to fit the V20 straight in (without canting/tongue folded over/motor tilted down)...I measured it before...It was 23' and some odd inches so the website is accurate. I don't see why their would be a change in length for the 2016 model.

As far as the 8' power poles go...You could always deploy them a little to lessen their height if you encounter a clearance issue.

I'm sure someone can get you the measurements...Good luck!

I have a v20 and a garage about the same size as yours. I have to trim down my motor to about the level position and I drop my poles even with the top of the motor. The other big question is the width of the door. The illusion trailer the v20 comes on is wider than a standard trailer and will go thru a standard door but will only have like a half inch on both sides. I had my door cut out and replaced it with a 13ft door.

Not sure where I read it but do the 2016 come with longer jack plate like 12"?

12" is standard on the 15 and 16 I believe...However, some guys are running a 15" jack plate...

poles stick up a few inches more than a trimmed up motor. If you have a 7' height garage door, you'll need to put them down a little. At my old house i just kept one of the remotes in the truck, put them down about 1/4 way back it in and then put them back up. I have a 199 w/ 8' poles, but same premise - it'll fit. I've since moved and have 8' doors and plenty of clearance.

Fitting in the garage is a big deal for me and the main reason I can't get a V20. My 199 fits diagonal in a 2-car garage with maybe 3 in. to spare. I have twin Talons that need to drop down too.

Same here, I just keep a powerpole remote on the shifter in my truck.

The exact length from the back of that Fury Prop to the tip of that swing away trailer tongue is what I'm dying to know...

Also the exact width from trailer fender to trailer fender...

My garage is 23 feet 1inch deep from the overhead door to the back wall. Width isn't a problem bc it has a 16 foot door - but my truck would like to stay in there as well.

Can someone bust out the tape measure for me ? The nearest Legend boat &/or dealer is multiple hours away or I'd just drive over with my own tape measure !

I just measured it with the transom saver on and it was about 24' from the swing tongue to the back of the prop...I don't have a cranking battery in the boat or I would have tilted the motor down...Just eye balling it...I think it may fit.

Something I noticed between the few brands of boats I had over the years while in the same house/garage: My TX190 Skeeter 18.5 Fit nicely diagonal, the 2004 198 Champion fit diagonal, however the transom corners were not rounded and had a bit of an awkward fit, but still make it. my 2013 Alpha 199 fits better than the Champion and its a few inches longer. The difference is that the transom corners are rounded which gave addition wiggle room when fitting diagonal in the corner. The engine had to be down and level.

I can second that. I had a 225zx in my garage which was supposed to be a few inches shorter than the V-20 but those sponsons sticking out of the back of the skeeter made it a tighter fit than the legend length wise. The height on the V-20 trailer can be an issue...I had to put my hydro plate all the way down and trim the motor down quite a bit to get under my garage door. I was not thinking about that and had a scare when I first started backing it in. I have a SHO hanging off mine. You will notice the width of the V-20...it takes up a little more space width wise.
