Man I wish I knew something about the Glass. I would be building some boats. The 201 Champs and the 201 Cobras are a couple of my favorite hulls. Someone needs to buy the mold.

Man I wish I had the money it take to start this project. That is what need to be done. 2 to 3 boats in the fleet and build them to the best!!!!! We need the 18' mold also to do it right.
BTW my wife would kill me if i came home and said"honey by the way I bought a boat mold today" I could just hear her now .

I think that's what they all say! It's funny how if you did buy the mold all your buds would be like...sweet I want one! I'll go get the beer and lets get started!! Our wives would say.... And what do you intend to do with that? How much did it cost? DO you Really need ANOTHER boat!!?? YES honey I DO!

Kathy at Viper company goes under

Kathy at Venom company going under and sells

Kathy at Cobra company goes under.

NOT that it would be her fault, but she sure seems to have a dark cloud following either her or the boat!!

Or very persistent...sometimes you just gotta do it until you get it right.

l wonder if all the patterns for flooring, etc. come with these molds?

Believe me, if I would have had any control of the company it would still be in business today. The past management(s) were nothing but money grubbing scum !!!

See that is the problem. I must be too nice of a guy. If I was building boats, You don't make all you money off one boat, you spread it out over many boats. You take care of the employees and the boats will sell themselves. If your employees are happy, they will put out and good product. If the get a bad attitude, find out why. Now I see why I couldn't run a business .
BTW Kathy, I would want ya on my team .

Haa! Haa! Hee! Hee!! That got her fired up! This board has been a little slow these days and needed a little "pick me up"!

Kathy knows I don't think she was to blame at all, she was their best asset, more valuable than the molds or the air permit!

Re: Molds for sale (Tx 201)

Thanks Jon, I would have loved to have been on your team......I tried to get on the Legend team and they wouldn't give me the time of day......THEIR LOSS !! But now I have joined a new team called Staples and after only 7 working days (Monday thru Friday first week and Mon. & Tues. of the following week) I earned my first (of many) service pins to attach to my name badge. I never ever pictured myself ever working in the retail business and now I picture myself retiring with Staples. BEST job I've ever had......FO SHO !!! Started me out at 10 bucks an hour and the employee benefits are absolutely FANTASTIC !!!! With Staples, their feelings are that the quality of life for their employees are HIGH on the totem pole. They don't like to make a person ever work any overtime. They feel that if a store is so successful that an employee might have to work overtime then they want that store to hire more help. THAT'S A BIG BONUS IN MY BOOK !!!!! And since I am in charge of inventory I never have to work on Saturday or Sunday and I am the ONLY associate with that schedule. Not even the managers get off on the weekends. And that goes for every inventory associate in every Staples store world wide I LOVE MY NEW JOB !!!!!

And Chris, I know your true feelings about me and if you didn't pick on me I would think you were mad at me. I LOVE it when somebody stirs the pot around here. That's one of my favorite things about being a moderator in the Cobra Forum. I will always love Cobra boats no matter what and I will always be around here to help out any Cobra/Coral boat owner whenever I can.
