    Question?

On top of my console is this round thing about the size of a nickle. It says vent and oil fill. What is this for? I was thinking maybe hydraulic steering.

Exactly!!! Check your fluid level from time to time, it does go down a little. Bleeding them is a two man operation unless you have a vaccum pump. At least that is what I used and it seemed to work fine. I have a small leak on one side of my steering. I can tell when I need to check it because turning left is a little more than a one finger operation.

Brother's 201 has cable steer and he tells me I don't know how spoiled I am!!

So do you fill it up to the top of the hose below the vent/fill cap or is that too high?

    Inquiring minds want to know.

    Thanks.

    Re: Question? (R.A.D.man)

Not sure how full it is supposed to be, but I fill it to just where I think the cap will contact the fluid keeping as much air gap out as possible.
