Spring is almost here!!

Sight fishing is around the corner!! I am taking my 9 yr old son, along with two other father son combos to Lake Amistad for spring break. We will get there right after the BASS tournament, and be on the water a day before, the day of and the day after the full moon. I am hoping the crowds will have left from the tournament, and that with the full moon, a new wave of fish will stage up that the pros were not fishing for. I would love to watch my son latch into one over 7 lbs!!

If I see one over 10, he gets to fish for it, that would be a thrill of a lifetime for both of us!!

Awwww......HECK!!! It was only about 90 today and warming up the water fast. Fish are about to really start moving up around here. Hope I can go Friday and catch some pre-spawn fish. Supposed to be overcast but warm with a slight chance of rain. Those green babes out to be moving around looking for a meal.
Hope I have a chance to hook a couple up with an extra value meal!!!

Oh yeah..........I mean uhh....it's too hot to fish......they probably aren't biting anyway.......I ought to stay in the office.........I probably would have a rotten time on the water............................................. .....

Well went to fork thursday caught a few small ones and lost a hog she spit out
a red trap right at the boat ( that was your cast joe) caught a few today they were all under 3 to 4 pounds .

Thats to bad Joe its about 65 down here today. On a side note have you ever fished the small rivers and creeks in your area. Especially around or downstream from any treatment plant discharges.

It was in the mid 70s here in AZ. My partner and I took the Cobra out yesterday and stuck well over 50 smallies and LM. It was one of those days! The Cobra feasted on fish yesterday.
