Will anyone from the factory be attending the Tulsa Boat Show? If so, who will it be and on what day(s)?
I understand that the new Cobras will be on display at Bill's Marine booth, which is great for this part of the country. There are a lot of Cobra owners here in Oklahoma and a lot of fisherman who thought Cobra was no longer in business!

Chip, Donnie & Charlotte from the plant will be attending the Tulsa Boat Show but as of right now they aren't sure who is going to be there on what days. You might try calling the plant (870-425-9037) as the event gets closer. If I get any further info you can be sure I will post it on the Cobra Forum.

Funny you should mention that. I came to this site to get info on Cobra's becuase I have not seen a dealer handle this boat around here in several years. To be honest with you, I can't even find a website with their boats on it! I kinda thought they were done until I read this post!
Court...first of all, welcome to the Cobra forum, glad to have you join us! Secondly, after Cobra went into receivership the Company was purchased and the new owner tried selling Cobra 's factory direct while he was attempting to develop a dealer network. He got started a little late in the year (around Oct.) because it took a while to secure the necessary permits, etc. to get things up and running. The name of the company was changed to Venom Boats, Inc. The company was eventually sold to someone else this year ~Sept. The Company's name was again changed to Cobra Boats USA. The boats themselves are made just as good as they ever were. Many of the same workers who originally started with Viper Boats, Inc. are still there plying their trade.
