you can flush mount the fishfider in the front or use a bracket as he did.

How hard is it to flush mount one? the dealer mounted mine on a bracket just like in the pic. Might look a little cleaner

not to bad mine is flush mounted,it took about a hour.you will need to take the trim panel off and cut a hole in the fiberglass.Just make sure your Jigsaw has a new sharp blade in it.This has to be the hardest glass I have ever cut through.Ill take a pic of mine and post it.

I mounted mine on a standup bracket. My eyes are getting a little old and I need the help seeing it

Getting rready to mount an 1198 humminbird at the dash on my 496-will I need the standard length (short arm) or the longer ram mount. Boat is at the lake & I am having a hard time remembering if there is a spot just to the side of the windshield that is flat enough to mount close enough for the short arm. Was planning on using a ram-d-111u mount.

Thanks for any help or a picture of one mounted would be great.

i have a pic on my buddys it looks like the short one once it is on its as tall as the winshields.ill psot it when I get home tonight.
