    Batteries in 195

does anybody have a picture of their battery set up in the bilge area? I am only able to fit group 27 batteries for the TM and 1 group 24 for the outboard and dont have any room for another...also i cant fit any size larger than a group 27 for the TM because of the angled transom

2 on one side a 1 on the other with the oil tank. You can also put two of them over the the pumps .you should have a metal plate over the pumps .Just put a supprt under the plate and you should be good to go.

yea thats exactly the same way i have mine now...all three are sitting width wise to the sides of the boat but i cannot fit bigger batteries in that way...i wondered about the metal plate but wasnt sure if it will hold it...i does have two wooden bars under the plate where the live well pumps are mounted

If you get a larger battery plate maybe you will see it fits but you could maybe upgrade to a Digital trolling motor??? uses WAY less juice!!!

    Re: Batteries in 195 (zoks)

I i have a 495 so not sure if the room is the same. I took my metal tray out and put a peice of plywood in where the metal hinged tray was. I moved my oil tank from the starboard side and placed it on the plywood and bolted it down. I now have two batteries port side and two starboard.
