Also, for comparison, my buddy has a 2003 196 with a 3.1L Yammie and I have see it well over 65gps loaded down.

How does it run with 2 people and a regular load? 100 lbs is 1-2 mph, so that's a hard thing to guess.

As it is, you've got a ton of prop slip, which can be due to over load on weight to your motor height.

Yes

The HIN does not give any clue to model, but that HIN does say the boat was built in Tennessee in May 06, and is an 06 model.
