    Champion value is climbing

Heard 2nd hand that a dealer stated Champions are rising in value with the PE choice.

Thats great it could have gone either way, looks like we have an edge.

Awesome collectable boats which are now classics.

Do you mean our Champs purchased before PE's involvement?

I have a 2000, but it is not a TN model..

Doesn't matter though.. I didn't buy it as a peice of investment property.

Isn't "hanging onto the them" the exact wrong thing to do if you want to see the hulls survive? maybe some turnover is what the hulls need---SALES....

If someone could figure out how to build an awesome boat for 20k, I could contribute to new sales.

Re: Champion value is climbing (Royjulius)

I am not doing my part. I bought used. I am just too conservative. One can only hope that a used sale helps someone else into a new ChampioN.

Mine is working for me so I am hanging onto it.

Re: Champion value is climbing (bassin butch)

Done mine to Butch, and don't plan on a sale. The boat ,to me has a even higher Value, than one would be willing to pay. 2006 and retired. Keeps my back in tact and dry, what else a old man can ask for. Hind sight , should have kept my 2000 186 too.

I can't think of a better boat to recommend to a friend, relative, co-worker, etc. to purchase if they are in the market. I would hate to see our hull go away for ever although it seems to be barely hanging on right now.
