I installed a monitor a couple of weeks ago. So much better would be the understatement of the year. Don with European Marine on the Mercury forum walked me through everything. My bios tach with the digital window still works, but I can't get the other bios gauge with the analog speed and trim to work. I didn't try long though since the merc monitor shows so much and any 3 readings of my choice at the same time. I haven't looked at the bios gauges since except I keep the digital window on fuel remaining and fuel consumed.
