Late model 202 (2009) Opionions wanted

Can anyone who owns a 2009 or newer 202 pipe in and give me their opinions?
I'm considering trading up (again - ) and have my eye on a 2009 202 that I cant stop looking at. I've owned a 198 in the past, and one issue I had was when I pushed the boat above 68ish mph I got pretty bad chine walking. The 198 had a 27p prop on it, and I'm thinking that was too much prop for the boat and may have been causing the chine walking. Any opionions would be appreciated.

The 203 is my dream rig! Way cool newer tech with LE badging with old school design.

If you buy it please post pix as it is really my favorite Champ.

    Hills reels has one
    ****2008 203 LE ****
    ****Boat #6 ****
    ****250 Pro XS ****

202 has many fans on this site so someone will be along shortly.

    Uhhh, butch..he said 202 for 2009, not 203. The last 203 was in 2008.

The prop on the 198 was not the cause of your chining, fishchamp. You need to read up on driving to prevent chine-walk. When a boat chines it is trying to do what it is intended to do..and that is balance on it's pad.

Lots of folks have been there. You can do it!!!

My 198 will start to walk at about 68 as well. Most boats will when they are reaching their full potential.....it may help to go up on the jack plate a little, just watch your water pressure. Like Lea said, chine walking occurs as the boat is rocking from one side of the pad to the other. It means the hull is aired out and ready to run!!! Some boats chine radically, but the 198 is a bit more controllable than some. Get the 202 and let her eat

You gotta "drive" it out of the chine walk...You'll LOVE the storage upgrades of the 202 (if you get it)...
