how do you go about getting it bal / blueprinted and whats the cost?
There were 202s in the 90s and then late 2008-to present. What year is yours? They are very different!
Also need to know exact motor, prop to pad measurement, water pressure, etc in order to be able to determine what is going on and what you need.
A really good prop shop can give you an idea about blueprint, etc.... One sponsor here is Mark Croxton. Excellent !!!!!!!!!!
I didn't realize that they made an elite in the older models...![]()

They have been making Elites for a very, very long time....The 90s and earlier ones were from Mtn Home. The newer ones are TN and Flippin.
Its a 2011 with a 225 proxs merc and manual jackplate. I have been playing with the jackplate and i am getting the best performance with about 23lbs water pressure (about 1" below the pad). I have raised the motor higher and my water pressure fell to around 15lbs and my top speed was 2 to 4 mph slower.
I tried 24, 25 fury. 25 26 tempest plus. 24 25 razor 3. None of them ran over 70. Got 26 tempest plus balanced and blueprinted by mark croxton and running 73 loaded now with more lift than ever. Feels like a new boat. Mine likes the prop to pad much lower I'm around 4.5 to 5 below.
I think thats what i need is more lift. I was wondering about the fury because i have heard alot of good things about them but didnt know anyone who had one i could try.I have a 26 trophy from a previous boat as a spare prop but when i tried it didnt perform at all.
I've got a friend with an 05 198/225 pro xs and he is running a 25 fury and it gives him a lot of bow lift and runs about 73 but not as much strearn lift as what I get out of the b&b 26 tempest. Overall I like the feel of the tempest better. The 25 fury didn't work as well on my boat as far as lifting but it could be just that each prop is different, his 25 fury might run better on my boat then the one I had. Your best bet is to have one B&B'ed by mark and be done with it. Mark will want you to run the prop and give him the numbers and then he will work his magic![]()
Thanks for the info i might give him a shout.
