    Livewell Problem?

Today, I went fishing and my main bilge for the boat kept coming on pumping water out. Plug was in and I could figure out where water was coming from. I believe the water was coming out of the livewell, because I filled them and closed my drain to them. Water was still getting in boat. When I pumped out livewell, bilge quit turning on and no water. WHAT GIVES?

Sounds like you have a cracked fitting, loose hose or sumpthin ... I hate them bilge problems ...

Fill those livewells, check and see if there is a leak around a fitting, with pump on and off. (2) run some water in your bilge and check your thru the hull fittings. Put enough water so it will apply some pressure on those fittings. Found it that way on my other boat.

Just a FYI, it you have Rule cartridge pumps, make sure the cartridges are installed correctly & tight on the recirc pumps (on back of livewell) and the pump out (just forward of the livewell valve) if installed. I had a similar problem on my 07 210.

It's a matter of exploratory diving, you'll find it. While your down there, check everything else and do whatever preventive maintenance or cleaning that is possible.
