Horrible timing

I have dial-up as many of you know. Was on line this AM and suddenly got disconnected. Would not re-connect so I hooked up a regular phone to the line...out of order, and storm not here!!! I am on my voice line and cannot stay long. Repair scheduled for Thursday...IF the repair guy can get here.

Keep fingers crossed. I will check in when I can!!!!

The other day, we got a tiny taste of what you DO get out there. Not sure which is worse....Think a big earthquake would not be a fun time!

Is it gonna get to you Lea? My Dad and sister live in VA Beach 12 miles from the beach. Sister also has a Camper at the outer banks in NC she just got it in April ;-( . I hope ya'll stay safe.

All kidding aside, it is a massive storm and although we need the rain here in Western SC I hope my friends along he East Coast fare well. I do love the OBX and have gone there for many years. It is a wonderful place and has weathered many a storm.

I hope your folks will be safe! We are getting tropical storm conditions, but I have been in Cat 1 hurricanes before and this seems more than tropical!
