I have a "89" 100 Johnson GT. Can the engine underr the cover be sprayed with an engine degreaser to clean it up. If not, any tips. Not too dirty now, would just like to clean it up a little.

Sure can, I use Castrol de-greaser before I work on a motor, I hate working on a dirty motor. I buy it by the gallon and put in a spray bottle. Wet the mid section first before applying and flush with H20. Cleans them up well.
