    New to me

Finally found the 202 I had been looking for. 1996 202 with a 1997 200 Mercury EFI. It has a 5 blade stainless prop not sure of the pitch. Absolutely perfect holeshot. Top speed at 5750 RPM WOT is only around 60 GPS. Should I expect more speed than that? Havn't messed with jackplate since I got it.

Congratulations!!!! I suspect you need a different prop. Probably a Tempest Plus, but someone will be along who knows the correct one for your combo.

I used to have a high 5 on my Nitro. Best hole shot prop out there, but lose a bit on top end for sure.

I would think you could see mid to upper 60's. Bigfish aka Tom and MMosher have 202's with 200s. I'm sure one of them or someone else will be along shortly to let you know what to expect.

I have a 97 202 with a 97 200 EFI it came with a High Five I'm running about 64 GPS, the hole shot is incredible, but if it's more speed you want get a 25 pitch Tempest, I'm running 67 GPS with that...
