    Uh oh

    Lake Houston...5.5 feet low due to drought
    lots of trees
    Word is everybody OK.

    why would anyone get on plane on a lake that is shallow and full of trees and sawed off trees. I would have idled back. Glad no one was hurt it sure hurts to look at that picture..At least it appears the level flotation worked,,unless the boat is being held up..

    Glad no one was hurt!

    I saw a guy at a ramp this spring with a Champion that looked in similar condition. The lake we were on was flooded from all the rain we had this spring and he hit a floating log. His motor ended up on his back deck. The only thing that stopped the motor from hitting him, was that he left his back deck seat in that day. It bent the seat post, but stopped the motor and the prop that was still spinning from him.
