I would go back with what ever was the original Cowling JMO Keep up the good work and you will get to the place you want to be.

Go back with original. I followed the same path as you did and picked up another hull instead of ripping apart the other boat and basicly rebuilding everything. Cannot wait to get it on the water.

    Re: Almost there (electric fish)

Thanx Fish. I ordered the carb kits yesterday and once I get them and rebuild them, I'll be water bound. Curious to see the difference between the 90 and the 120hp, lol I got 42.7 with the 90 and a 21p prop and 1/2 tank, 2 people and all my stuff. I'm hoping for low 50's with the 120.

    Re: Almost there (axis)

168, 120hp, 22p raker, 6" jackplate OK I got the Jackplate set at 3.5" below pad. Got 42.7 mph with the 90hp and a standard 21p prop. What can I expect with a 120hp and a 22p raker?
