    which too buy?

191 200 2,5 efi or 202 225 3,0 efi both mid 90's same price.191 plate, hydro steering decent electronics.202 no hydro plate or steering, crap electronics.how much difference in fuel economy and is the 202 that much better handling that its an easy choice?im thinking 19+ now instead of a 18' think the 191 is a good fit for my water/fishing but dont wanna break the bank on gas.

Both will consume quite a bit compared to a Opti. 225 probably a little more, for the extra HP.

Well i have a 191 with a 200 merc and its way better on gas then my 184 with a yamaha150 , And the best part is it fits in the garage, i almost got a 202 but it would not fit in the garage, it just depends on your needs both are great boats !!

Thats tough, they both would do great but the 225efi will use alot more fuel then the 2.5 200.
I had a 2.5ltr on a Cobra 190, before my 202, and i really cant believe the difference in gas usage. My 225 uses alot more than the 200.

Its all worth it though! I'll prolly have this hull forever just repower it with a 250 Proxs sometime in the future.

It all depends on what you want or are needing.

My vote's with the 202 also, they' re just that good, my 200 efi isn't real bad on fuel if I stay out of it, but it can drink it when you get on it hard

Thx guys.i kinda figured the 225 being a 30l would be thirsty.the 191 is a dual and the 202 a single (prefer dual).just wondered if the 191 performed pretty good compared too the 202 which every one says is one of the best handling champs.wanna stay under 10k so an opti is not an option,l like the efi reliability but dont own a gas station.

I own a DC 202 and wish it was single. DC are nice for resale and wives but a single really takes advantage of the space. Mine has a 200 EFI and I wish it was 225. It always nice to have TO much HP or length than not enough. You rarely hear of people saying "I wish my rig was slower and smaller" but you always hear "I want bigger and faster". You can always back off the throttle and a swing away hitch will get you in plenty of garages. Mine fit without a swing away with about an inch to spare.

Best of luck, both will suit you well. Just think you'll be a lot happier with a 20 footer. It's your money, spend it wisely and have fun doing it!

I love my 202 single and so does everyone that rides and fishes out of it! My buddies with high dollar new Tritons Rangers and Skeeter all have nothing but nice things to say about it! I am in the same boat as cheatem above it will get new seats in a yearvor so then a 250pro xs a year or so later hope to have this one for a real long time!

It's almost weird how little I miss it.
I'm digging the Champ and I think you will too.
