Hi folks,
I've got a etec 200 big block 3.3 ltr.
Just put an order in for the 200 HO big block to replace it.
So I've read here that it runs alot higher on the transom, How much higher would you recommend its positioned than my existing etec .![]()

If you not sure its best to have a water presure gauge installed. Your 3.3 liter enigine is the same as the 3.3 liter HO. What kind of boat is it going on. Did you ever receive the REBEL wheel yet??
got it thursday thanks for your effort , tried the Rebel 21 same day . revs up 300 on the raker 23 which surprised me ?? handling far surperior between 3000 and 4500 - lots more grip. top speed the same . fuel - no real differance at 1.3 ltr per kmile.
going on a 6.5 mtr rib 24 degree dead rise, existing etec on the 2 from bottom hole.
have asked for them to fit a pressure guage as an extra. he said the pressure guage is not standard with the engine kit
Should get better top end with the HO version ( I hope). Considered the 2.6 small block 200 but recon it would be a bit gutless compared to the big block ..... what you think
