Roy, I'll start helping you represent Champ in SD in 2 weeks.....getting ready to move again, heading to Rapid City. Maybe with 2 of us we can convince Al to start a SD forum![]()

Nice fish Roy, cool to have a dog with you! My last Lab used to open the livewells and watch the fish!! Funny but the guy or gal on the back deck had to watch where they were walking because he would never close them!![]()

Boner likes to watch the fish too, but he doesn't open the livewells. That must have been funny to watch! Me and Alma have been eating pike fillets for 3 days off that fish. Delicious!

Did you absolutely HAVE to go there, Charlie? I have been trying to ignore the poor dog's name ever since I first heard it....
Awww shucks Mark.....anyhoo, I always knew this day would come, so here's how Boner got his name:
When I brought him home, he was 9 weeks old but just as frisky as a ruttin' buck. I set him down in the yard and he proceded to jump over the fence and do the neighbors' dog. After he was finished he jumped over the fence to the other neighbors' chicken coop and did all their chickens. I started to get worried that he was gonna play himself out, when he jumped over the fence again. He ran out to the local pasture and started doing all the cows. When I finally caught up with him he was lying there breathless, and a flock of buzzards were circling directly above him. I looked down at him with a tear on my cheek and said, " You little maniac, I knew you were going to do yourself in". He opened one eye and whispered "shhh...they're gonna land." After that I had to call him Boner.
