I'm thinking about getting a Razor prop from Mark Croxton, he thinks a 26 Razor 3 will run good for me. Has anyone else run a razor yet and how did it perform?

Ya that's what its seems. I've got one more prop to test then after that I'm getting one I think.
My 198 runs best with a GOOD 26P Tempest Plus or a B&B 25p Fury.
Yep my 25 fury runs good, my blueprinted 25 tempest ran the same as the fury, Mark is repitching that one to a 26 as we speak so I'm excited to try that one again. The 26 tempest I tried ran good but not as good as the others, Im going to try a 26 fury that has been blueprinted by mark, I am occasionally on the limiter with my 25 fury so this 26 may be the ticket. Anyhow, if I am not satisfied after that I'll be buying a 26 Razor 3 from Mark.![]()
Good deal!! Keep us posted on numbers, etc!!!!
Try the 25 trophy,Ive tried just about everthing on my 2010 198 w/225 pro xs.These are my numbers 76.3@6000rpms 1/2 tank light tournament load@900' elevation, morning run.2 guys same load 73@5900...Prop is just blueprinted and balanced, trim extenders a must,3 1/2 shaft below pad.I ran the 27 trophy at77 light load 5600rpms,slip #'s around 9%but really fell off with weight.Seems like that boat really likes that prop, better gas mileage also.Handles much better with a four blade...Danny
Must be some major differences between individual boats. My rig does not like 4 blades (tried several) nearly as well as 3 blades. I have the regular Opti, not the XS.
I had the 200 elite with a Yamaha 225 hpdi on my last boat and I was turning a worked 27 txp. My pro x's 225 can't turn that prop.I was told to run that 4 blade by dah props,he also told me that seems to be the new craz on the go fast boats.
Everyone that I know that's tried a 4 blade on a champ said they handle good but slower on top end. I'm suprised at your results.

Understood it might be the new craze for go-fast boats, but that's not what our Champs are.
Has anyone tried a TXP OT4? I have a 09 190 CX DC,200 Opti.. I have tried about everything 2-25 Tempests Plus, one worked by Mark.,25 TXP 3 bl all three on limitter(5750).. 26 Tempest, 70.91@5700.. then 25 Fury, had been my best 71.09@5650..Then I tried a 25TXP OT4 .3 faster than Fury ,Holeshot was maybe 2 boat lengths!! Handling is better,NO walking..another Champer put me on to them..Goma La. he has a 206 250 Yamaha..![]()
