Elite 200 - Thoughts and Comments?

Considering the purchase of an 08 Elite 200. What are your thoughts about this as a fishing platform in general and it's rough water capabilities? What are your likes and dislikes? Thanks!

I currently run a 188, if I were to go for something bigger then the 200 would be my first choice

I have an 07 and love it. it handles water very well and fishes flat. It has more leg room and storage than the 198 but will not be as fast. I have run 71 in mine but average about 68mph. You could hide bodys in all front compartments. and the back ones are not are not small.

    Can't go wrong...great fishing platform.

Champs ride so smooth, you just have to make sure you don't fall asleep running across the lake.

I own a 2007 200 Elite and am very pleased with the overall performance and stability in rough water, very dry and lots of storage (too much in fact). If you are buying for speed, forget it. Mine is powered with Mercury 225 PROXS, 24 pitch fury prop and Bob's hydraulic jack plate. My best speed, by GPS, is only 72.9 mph, alone with minimal no tackle on board. Lots and lots of fishing deck, even for co-angler.
