Please keep us posted. Repowering is in my future within the year and am undecided on what brand. Man that SHO is a beast.

OK I was wondering! Heck I do my best to turn people onto Champs, and help other members out when needed.

I am going up to Steve 187's house to install a TM pedal recess in April.

And I got a lot of pix of 183 upgrades to post myself in April.

you guys can have those four strokes. have fun workn on em when theres a problem. i raced moto-x for fifteen years. love the SOUND and SMELL

of a two stroke. motorcycles or outboards. lots of experience workn on two strokes makn em run. do all my own work on my merc 150 efi. anything that needs to be done i can do it. no paying a mech. and parts are double what they are for a two stroke. NO WAY you will ever see a four stroke on my champ ! not trying to put anyone down that has one. if you like it thats fine. i just think they are over rated .

We will have to take pics and document the process to post here. I can't wait to gwet it in.

To Butch. It is always easier to cut a hole in someone else's boat!!

I like that SHO hanging on there too. Post some #'s when you get them.

I agree with you to a certain extent. I've built plenty of two stroke engines, and have never went to a mechanic......That being said, four stroke is the way the industry is heading. I'm not afraid to work on anything, and after the 5 year warranty is up, if there's a problem, I'll fix it. Plus, this engine is out performing other engines in it's class, and it weighs 34 pounds less than my HDPI.

When you are on the water as much as I am, fuel and oil comsumption becomes an issue, and that Series 2 I had was a bottomless hole!

Re: New Addition! (Tom in Stl)

If I was getting a new motor or a new boat/motor, that's what I'd be getting! It's the only way to go in my opinion. Nice looking set up. Hope the #'s are even better.
