help need a part??

i have a buddy whos needs a fuel pump assemble for a 2003 150 johnson carb motor.. i dont have then vin #, he lives in speedwell tn. and the dealer up there said it was back ordered and didnt know when they would get it... we have a trip plan to guntersville in 2 weeks so would love to get his boat up and going, so he can make the trip with us..... any help would be great... thanks in advance
