Aer will fill and Hydro is to oxygenate the water (bubbles) Do not over fill the livewell, over the top of the white tube. Both will work on the timer in auto mode.

does the water go anywhere when the livewell is full.If they both work off a timer what"s going to stop it from overflowing.
There is an overflow "tube" and water runs out of that. No problems....

I generally do not run the Aerator on the timer, just leave the switch off. The hydro air is great, never lost a fish.

I run the aerator on a timer, with the little timer knob on the dash at 12 o'clock. I found out the hard way that the well will overfill if you leave the aerator on constant, but if you leave it on auto it will not overfill, plus you get fresh water coming in all day long. Sometimes I pikefish and may have 3 or 4 5-10 lbers in there at once. And like Steve, have never lost a fish! I use the hydro if I'm driving a long way with fish I plan to eat. Just turn it to auto and head down the road (with the valve closed, of course) Keeps 'em fresh and tasty!
