Cancelled Tournaments for 2011

I got an e-mail from the club I have fished for 3 years stating: We will not be conducting any tournaments in 2011.

Now that sucks!

Buy all the stuff from Denny and I am all dressed up with nowhere to go.

Scrambling right now to find another group.

bfl's, anglers choice, first cast (new this year), any one of the dozens of clubs....and the hundreds of opens around the state. lotsa choices out there.

What trail are you fishing? I think Anglers Choice is over in Antioch as you may already know. With as much guys we have around here we need to have our own trail to fish...................Bass Boat Central National Tournament Trail, 95 percent payback.

It is beautiful country at Hartwell. Keowee is by far one of the most beautiful lakes you'll ever fish. Plus Lanier is just over an hr from Hartwell, 5lb spots will ruin you about as much as those pig Sturgeon Bay smallies.

Its (anglers choice) on the chain o lakes and my Champion will never float in that sewer.

My old club was fun and I attempted to fish each one, you never got rich but you had fun.

I located a group that is close to the old, now I am having a tough time convincing my partner to give it a go. I am still trying!

If all else I will just find a different club and keep trucking.

Not to mention Norman, Wylie, Clarks Hill, & Lake Murray.... God's country for a Bass fisherman down in NC/SC/GA.... My son was out on Wylie Sunday - Sent a text message just to aggravate me

On a side note: I sure would like all of us local boys to get together 1 time on a WI lake. Champs, Legends or whatever $30 a boat pay back 100% an share a cold one together.

I fished with Steve 187 and with Bryan once, they are good people.

You forgot the big secret crown jewel Jocassee. Monster LM and SM, everybody fishes for trout up there so the LM and SM go unmolested.

Never been on Jocassee, but I hear the water is even clearer than Keowee... I'll need a good guide when/if the opportunity presents itself Fred

Located a different group and talked my partner into it. My 2011 tournament season is back on!

No way I could stand not fishing tourneys, I love the competition and the entire scene.

If Bryan fishes against us I aim for second place, if not first

Geneva can be a real PITA even in spring if they are not spawning and it gets sunny and real calm.

A little secret though 3"-4" soft plastic swimbaits in clear with blue hues or blue glitter. Your on your own for depth and location.
