My electric boat... no Champ replacement, but cool anyways...

She doesn't quite replace my Champion, but still a cool little boat I bought a few months back. Made by Water Moccasin Outdoors in Stonewall, La. I would see these on toledo bend and always wanted one. Since I've been bank trash for about two years now, I thought it would be a good time to get one. Found it used and fixed it up a little, put some Herculiner on the inside and bottom/side to protect it. Other than that, all I've done is purchase the trailer off craigslist and modified it slightly to fit it, oh and put a switch panel in it.

I've fished out of this rig about 8 times now close to the house and it performs very well. I can stand up fish and operate the trolling motor in this boat without fear of tipping over. I was very surprised with that. Normal fishing, put the trolling motor on 1 or 2. When moving around 4-5 power and this little thing scoots. Makes an awesome pond / small water boat and I've gotten some really curious looks on Dickinson Bayou when fishing. I'm still going to update this a little with running lights and depth finder.

So far, I've caught some really nice reds and a few bass out of it.

    Proof that it works!

I like it! Got some good ponds around where I live and the thing would come in handy.

That's pretty cool. I've never seen one like that. Beats the hell out of a kayak!

Nice boat. A friend of mine's grandad had one back in the late 80's in the neighborhood lake. It was an electric only lake. It had stick steer and 3 trolling motor lower units under the back and a foot control up front.

    Neat little boat
Doesn't even look like you could mount a small outboard if you wanted.

    Very nice

They sell a lot in north louisiana. I believe they are missing out, if they beefed up their marketing they could sell a ton of these nationwide.
