Hello,
I have a 1995 evinrude 200 model number LE200SLEOC with the 3.0 it seems to be flooding on all cylinders after extended idling for over 3 minutes you can actually hear the engine load up. if you blip the throttle it will smooth up considerably for a while also has a lot of smoke VRO is disabled just to clear that up. any help appreciated

What is your idle RPM in gear? You may want to test your recirc valves. Last time plugs were changed?

Just a update on this issue (still on going)
Evinrude LE200SLEOC 3.0 fingerport that has me and my marina stumped to give you the run down heres what we've done/ changed so far with no results. I had a spare motor that had compression issues so swap parts where easy to obtain. We've changed the stator, power pack, rebuilt the carbs, Fuel pump and the valve that's in the block, swapped tanks to an auxiliary to eliminate that, spark plugs, and of course fuel bulb. All with no change so far the motor doesn't run hot or anything of that sort ,but it just flat out wont plane. if you slap the choke it will "try" harder to plane but still doesn't really get there. I'm going to attempt to swap the reed valves this week and of course put new gaskets on for all the intake stuff. leak down test appears to be good.
Can anyone give me some insite on what might be going on we are stumped. Also we did check and clean all the recirculation valves and they all seem to be working properly
