Taking the Champ to Amilia Island for Vacation

Going to Amilia Island for vacation July 17-24. My wife told me to take the Champ but not to fish the whole time there. Looking for some advice on where to fish and what to fish for, as well as what tackle to take. Need a chip for my Lowrance 520c for Fla if anyone wants to sell or loan one. If you live in that area, I will have a seat open a day or two Im sure. Im excited to catch some of what they have to offer, just need to know what to take so I am ready when I get there.

Hans, IM KDAWG or jbradfishn and I'm sure they'll be more than happy to put you on fish down close to Amelia. Right on A1A back towards I95 is Lofton Creek, plenty of good LM bass and red bass (spot tail) to be had in there. Biggest problem is in July down there it's usually around 1,000 degrees every day with no breeze. But other than that it's real comfortable!
