I try to call the old Champion CS phone number and it directs me to Ranger. I dial it up: lady picks up and I ask do you handle Champ parts? Yes I will put you into the parts line but they are really busy now and you will be on hold for a while. After 10+ minutes of listening to Ranger boat advertizement I could not take it anymore and hung up.

Give me damn good reason I should listen to ranger rants? Ranger can add a 1-800 line for Champion for under $100 (I know this for fact).

If this is the way Champ will be handled "Got save us all"

Being the week of memorial day I would say they are probably all swamped, but I know it sucks being on hold for any amount of time. I wouldn't assume that it will always be this way though.

Hold time was not the big issue I get that: listening to Ranger F&B's over and over again was.

Everytime my company picks up a new customer we add a phone line or vector them through routing options. While on-hold they hear music or messages about their specific brand products.

We would have folks fired if our customers listened to the wrong brands message.
