    Passing of the torch

Well ChampioN fans, my boat fished a tournament without me yesterday. A friend of mine needed help fishing (broke his leg) so I offered to take him in his boat. My 2 sons wanted to fish so we took the ChampioN to the lake - I dunked it and off they went.

Hard to believe that they are so grown up. Story has a happy ending as well, my friend (Jeff Murray aka "2500" on the boards) won the tournament and was gracious enough to show me a "new" technique. My sons had a great tournament as well. The wind blew 15-25 out of the west all day and I didn't have to worry knowing that they were in the ChampioN.

Look for Aikenyounggun to be posting here soon.

    Peace,
    Don<><

I think of future moments like this every time my 4 year old daughter asked me to take her out in the boat! Cool moment for you.

I remember he first time I let jake drive, and the first time I let him use the boat alone.....now he's one of the best drivers around at 19 yo and I'm very proud of him and his ability..........but......you know what I mean. You got a taste of it this weekend!
