    Something new at Evinrude.com

Found this out today. The following is a copy of a post I put up on another board.

There is a neat fuel calculator at the bottom of the page on the Evinrude web site. I know some will cry foul. Why pick on Yamaha?? Rember Yamaha has a good market share that BRP is after. Its very easy to use and I think its pretty neat.

http://www.evinrude.com then click on the fuel calculator.

I saw a lot of ads that said Merc AND Yammie was beating the fuel economy of the ETECs?????? I'm not believing it.......

That is pretty interesting. I did not expect the Etec 250 to get better gas mileage then the smaller HP motors. You would think that would be just the opposite. Why is that the case?

I am not buying the HO's burn same amount of fuel as the non HO versions!!! My bet is the 225HO will burn same amount as standard 250.
