    More numbers Littlemule

Raised my plate up to 3 1/2". Ran my 23p Tempest by myself with normal fishing load 5800 rpms at 63.3 mph. Conditions weren't that great, 25 mph winds... The lake isn't that big, and surrounded by hills, so it only had about a 1' chop, but I had to run parallel with the chop for the most part and ran out of lake pretty quick.

Put my 24p Trophy on and ran it at 5800 rpms at 62.6 mph.

Hole-shot and water pressure was fine with both props, and the boat handled well with both also.

I am happy with it, now on to the fishing!

didn't do well fishing Friday , did good sat night. until i pissed off a pair of beavers, must of got to close to their den , they stalked me for a hour slapping their tails scaring all the fish away, i was on a 10 hp lake sat so i was at their mercy, it was a great night tho turkeys gobbling, beavers stalking, fish biting, geese honking, ducks quack in, it was a freaking nature extravaganza.

Dang beavers, nothing but trouble A guy in the back of my boat in Michigan thought he had a cure for a harassing beaver - 60 lb. braid and a big 'ol spook....Didn't turn out well and I wouldn't recommend it

Reminds me of the first time I went Turkey hunting in the spring, it is dang noisy out there. Was used to deer hunting in the cold, only thing you hear is your teeth chattering

Can't remember what your prop to pad measurement is, if it is as low as mine used to be, might help to bring it up a tad until you get a plate. I have the merc lifting ring if you need it, other than that it just takes some wrenches and a com-along, a buddy and some sealant.

Good luck fishing, gonna start getting serious here Friday.
