    champion

Thanks for all the replies! I will post some pictures when I can figure out how. I am not too savy on all this computer stuff.
I bought my boat from a friend who had it for several years. He actually bought a newer Bass Cat. My boat has an older 200 hp mercury Mariner. I paid $8000. It seems to run good. I actually have been in the boat once when he still owned it and have yet to drive it myself. I really like the way there is seating in front of the consoles before the front fishing deck. My buddy didn't, and his new boat the fishing deck starts at the console. He is hard core though. He has been fishing every weekend this winter, even in 15 degree weather!
Do you'all have any advice on how to drive this thing as my previous concept of speed was a 25 hp engine on a Supreme riverboat. Thanks, Fred

I think your best bet is to hook up with your buddy and go out and have him show you how to handle her. Have him drive and demonstrate, then you drive with him coaching. You'll be an expert in no time.

Congrats on the boat BTW....you'll love it.

The guys make a good point. Get your buddy to show you and teach you how to drive the Champion. That is something that gets overlooked, the "learning curve."
Each boat drives and handles differently. Coming from a small engine to one of the bigger ones, you can really lessen the learning by learning the lesson .

Sorry, just had to do that!
These Champ guys are proud of their rigs too, so get 'em some pictures when you get a chance!
