I have a "new" to me '94 186 that has a leaking livewell valve I believe. The actuator on the dash turns both ways, not easy but it does turn. I have looked back in the older posts and I think I need a new valve, I think it is the V1 2 position shutoff from rite-flow. Is this the correct one and also do I need the quick connect or the barbless model? Also wondering if I should replace the cable while I have it tore apart? Don't want to do it twice!
Not sure on value, but on my 92 201 I had a hose work loose.
Welcome to BBC and the Champion forum! If water is leaking into and out of wells, I would replace valve. I had to do this on my 05. Others will be along regarding brand and connections....
instead of replaceing valve you can rebuild them kit costs less than a whole new valve i am in the process of putting mine back together the rebuild kits are $9.95 + shiping

You can also try to flush out the line. Mine leaked and was hard to turn when I first got my used ChamP. After I vacuumed out the sand, crayfish parts, and other miscellaneous debris out of the livewell, I filled them with the hose a couple of times in the driveway and let the water run out while turning the valve off and on a few times, it works as desinged now. Worth a shot.
