What year and model??
If you can weld, you can add braces where it is weakened. It not, look for an older Champ trailer by TI Trailers. The older ones were made from channel, and they would last almost indefinitely. Trailers made of rectangular tube won't last, but almost everyone is going to that construction method. The guy that bought my old 203 had some rust problems in 2007 (8 year old trailer) and bought a new trailer from a local mfr. They built it to the same dimensions as the original, but they used channel. It's an awesome trailer.

I had a 1991 champ for 18 years it had hardly any rust on it than my 08 trailer
