BBC member, jackson64, bought new pedestals for his 1999 187 Elite. I have emailed him to ask where he got them. I will let you know as soon as I hear....
I think Champion is using Springfield pedestals now. Whether or not they are compatible with your bases, I am not sure...
I have a extra one for my 97 202 i could part with, not sure if its the same or not
From the photos in the 97 brochure, the base looks the same as in the 99s. Just might work!
thanks lea!! they measure 1 3/4" dia. and go in 3" made by Swivel Ease...1 folding seat nearly perfect cond. 1 extra butt seat with some scratches on the post grey and navy in color...im sent to hooken203

I'm in the same predicament w/ my 1999 203. The front power pole just gave up the ghost. it is a Swivl-Eze Snap Lock... the MFG number is P3000. any one know if this will replace it? http://www.basspro.com/webapp/...ODUCT
It is the 1.77 diameter. Hate to buy it if it isn't the right one.

cabela's sell them & they are 1.77, they have two different lengths back is not adjustable but the front is .. I have been researching this because i wanted taller one ..

No it will not work. I bought that one and had to return it. The snap lock clip is not the right size. I may have to buy another one and modify the clip. I didnt think it would be a big deal to find the right one.
I deliberately try to put pedestals in so the snaplock does not engage. I have run some really rough water and no prob... Maybe this will work for you???
why do I feel we are hosed for a solution... anyone have a phone number for the manufacturer? can you buy a base to inser the new pole into that fits over the current hole? Thanks in advance.

I had to sand a couple 000"s off it so it slides in and out real nice.

Ok.. I bought the pedestal discussed previously because it was the closest I could find. Swivl-Eze was bought by Attwood a few years back and the design was changed. Since the diameter of the post is very close, I got it. Also previously mentioned was that it would fit if you took a few .ooo's off of it. I also took what Attwood calls the "R Clip" out of my old pedestal... measured carefully the openings from the old and marked the new pedestal... got to work with the Dremel, drill and small flat files and voila... new pedestal with old R Clip that fits the mounting base in the Ole 99 203.Take your time (2 hrs. tops) and you will have a new old solution to our issue.
I too am looking for a rear seat pedestal for a 2000 202 dc. I would prefer original equipment if I can find it. Anyone else have an extra lying around that they'd like to get rid of? I would be interested in the pedestal and butt seat for the rear if I can find it. Thanks !!!
