I'm starting to look at buying a boat and I'm pretty focused on Legend. I know with my price range that I'm going to be looking at boats in the 2006-2008 range and I'm wondering what would y'all say the Alpha model is worth vs the LE models if the boats are rigged the same? For a few thousand difference, should I wait until I can get into an Alpha series?
the le21 was a great boat. i would go with the alpha however just because it will be easier to get parts and service plus it will have most of the updated features (day box, organization etc) that were upgraded from the 21. I'm trying to remember, but I think the le21 was a little faster hull than the alpha but the alphas are better ride (and still pretty quick). Maybe someone else can confirm that. I have a 199, never been in the 211 but did spend some time behind the wheel in an le21 - its what sold me on legends to begin with.
From my understanding the Alpha211 has a dryer ride.
2007 legend 21LE (new to me) questionsI'm about to purchase my first Legend boat. It's a 2007 21LE. It's in superb condition. 225 optimax with a 26 pitch 3 blade prop. Anyone else running one? What kind of performance including top speed can I expect out of this boat. Thanks.

Top speed depending on load can be from 74-78. Perfect conditions the boat could hit 78. Normal should be around 74.
