    water pressure

Noticed my 06 90 ETEC was not pumping water out of the spout for the first few minuets after start-up this past weekend. After about 5 mins or so it starting pumping away, is this normal? Was it just warming up and recirculating the water? It was cold, in the mid 30's at least.

Yep, that is normal. The thermostats were closed till the engine temps got up to normal and then they opened up and allowed water out the tell tale. Remember, when it is cold outside to always let the engine warm up for a few minutes before running it hard..This will prevent cold seize of the engine.....Good luck,......................Roger
